Open Access Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All research articles published in the Jordanian Journal of Engineering and Chemical industries (JJECI) are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download, and share. Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license<\/a> which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Definition of Open Access Publication from Bethesda\nStatement on Open Access Publishing<\/a>: An Open\nAccess Publication is one that meets the following two conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant(s) to all\nusers a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a\nlicense to copy use distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to\nmake and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible\npurpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship, as well as the right to\nmake small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.<\/li>
  2. A complete version of the work and all supplemental\nmaterials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, in a suitable\nstandard electronic format is deposited immediately upon initial publication in\nat least one online repository that is supported by an academic institution,\nscholarly society, government agency, or other well-established organization\nthat seeks to enable open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability,\nand long-term archiving (for the biomedical sciences, PubMed Central is such a\nrepository).<\/li>
  3. The license used for OA articles in JJECI subscription\njournals is CC BY 4.0. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Permissions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    No\nspecial permission is required to reuse all, or part of the article published\nby JJECII, including figures and tables. For articles published under an open\naccess Creative Common CC BY license, any part of the article may be reused\nwithout permission provided that the original article is cited. The reuse of an\narticle does not imply endorsement by the authors or JJECI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
